Following brief remarks from Dr. Susan Madsen and Jacki Zehner, Kathy will share insights from her decades of work as a gender-intelligent philanthropic movement builder. Kathy will also explore internal and collective identity work as it relates to fundraising. Then, we want to hear from you!

Financial trauma takes many forms. Understanding what it is and how it may present in clients can lead to greater levels of financial engagement and wellbeing.

So much time and effort is spent on advancing financial ‘literacy’, and yet multiple surveys indicate that the majority of American adults are not only financially illiterate, but experience challenging money disorders including financial avoidance, overspending, excessive risk taking, risk aversion, and financial fawning. While open to all, this session was geared towards financial services professionals, and professionals working in the mental-health and wellness arenas.
