The second session in our SheMoney Workshop series was Overcoming Overwhelm: Becoming Your Own Best Thinking Partner. We asked our community "What are your greatest challenges to be effective leaders and business owners?" At the top of the list was trying to do it all. Guess what? You don’t have to!

This workshop is designed to help you move through that feeling of overwhelm towards a more self-aware, effective, and joyful self. Facilitator Bios:

Angie McArthur is Co-founder and principal at CORE Thinking Partners, and coauthor of the books "Collaborative Intelligence" and "Reconcilable Differences." She is also part of the Penguin Random House Speakers’ Bureau as a keynote speaker. She grew up in the International School system, and received her BA in Communication Theory from McGill University. She is certified as a Mindfulness Teacher and has trained over 40 Thinking Partners in her proprietary coaching methodology.

Previously Angie was President of Bleeker, Inc. and CEO of Professional Thinking Partners, and founder of the Worldwide Women’s Web, a network formed to develop and retain women in corporate leadership roles. Since 1998 she has facilitated and designed global conferences, Executive Champions workshops, leadership and renewal retreats, corporate training programs, and ongoing one-on-one Thinking Partnerships. She has served as a Thinking Partner to CEOs, executives and emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. She has worked across a broad spectrum of industries including food, finance, insurance, and tech; and her clients range from Fortune 500 clients to start-ups: Amazon, Infobip, Royal Dutch Shell, Nike, Google, GE, One Equity Partners, Mozilla, Schlumberger, Society for Organizational Learning, and the US Department of Defense.

LUANA is an Executive Thinking Partner at CORE. She uses curiosity, humor, candid observations, somatic experiencing, story, and compassion as she works with corporate leaders developing essential resources. Luana facilitates workshops in trust, charismatic connecting, developing inquiry skills, honing thinking talents, navigating conflict, building inclusive cultures, collaborative intelligence, and launching new projects. She is the author of "What Makes That Black? The African-American Aesthetic in American Expressive Culture." Currently, she is researching the role of Black Cultural Intelligence as an asset in executive leadership. She is an avid gardener, bocce and badminton player, and a long-standing student of theoretical quantum physics.
