Join SheMoney and Park City Film for an evening of film, conversation, and connection at the Women’s Voices Forum 2026: Spring Social & Screening.
This year’s gathering centers around a screening of the documentary Cookie Queens, by Alysa premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. This film has already secured a late summer theatrical release, rare for any documentary these days, which speaks to the massive commercial appeal of this heartwarming and powerful film.
The evening begins with a smaller SheMoney Social, featuring a pre-film conversation with director Alysa Nahmias, followed by a larger community screening and brief post-film Q&A. We’re also working with Girl Scouts of Utah to ensure young girls and their families are part of the evening in a visible and meaningful way.
This is not simply a film about Girl Scouts, cookie sales or youth entrepreneurship. It is a charming and poignant story about how young people begin to understand the system of capitalism and to operate in that system. In addition, we witness families struggling to support their daughters in meeting their cookie sales goals while tending to the financial wellbeing of their family.
In the spirit of the film, Girl Scouts (current & alumni) are invited to wear their Girl Scout apparel or memorabilia—sashes, badges, troop tees, or vintage pieces, as a way to reflect, remember, and connect across generations.
